LOOKING FORWARD AT THE NEW YEAR WITH FAITH AND WITH FIRE!

This is the beginning my 51st year in the ministry of the Gospel.
In all these years I have learnt many things and grown much in my personal life and in my faith. I have also realized a lot of my mistakes, failures, and things that I have believed and preached in the past that I have had to correct.

This “self-correction” is an essential part of one’s growth as a Christian and as a preacher of the Gospel. We should forever be re-aligning ourselves with the Word of God, always “rightly dividing the Word of Truth”. It makes us better men than we were before.

I look back at our old campaigns that shook cities and nations …. in Africa, Eastern Europe, South America, India, Burma …. At all the churches that we planted, at the ministers who were raised up. Yes, we went forth as young lions with much boldness, and we saw the power and the glory of the Lord manifested. We saw the dead raised up, we saw creative miracles, we saw the lame walk, the blind see and the deaf here. All this was because of God’s grace and anointing alone. No man could do these things by himself if he wanted to.

The Bible says …

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”. Phil 3:12-14

Yes, we must leave the past and press forwards. There are fresh conquests for us this new year, and more labors in the harvest fields of the Gospel. As I look forward to this year, I am excited about what the Lord has for us. The foremost and greatest quest for me is to know Jesus more, to know His Word more, to hear His voice; and to know His presence and His power more than ever before: Because without these things we are nothing! Beloved, we have mountains to climb, and we need Jesus! For me and my team it is ten Crusades in Africa and Asia. This in addition to much preaching and ministry in other places all around the world.

I pray for my brothers and sisters, pastors and evangelists who are also laboring in the harvest fields, doing the same thing that I am doing. I say to them, “Be encouraged! Be strong!” Our best days are ahead of us. We serve a living and risen Savior, one who has destroyed the works of the devil. Victory is ours by His Blood and in His Name!”

I say to those who cannot go but are called to support us and pray for us “Be encouraged! Because you stand alongside us your reward is just the same as ours! Every seed that you sow into the soil of the Gospel will bear fruit for eternity. “Be Blessed! Be strong!”

So Beloved, let us be filled with the love and the Word of God in the coming 365 days of this year. We are running the final lap of the Great Commission given to us by our Lord Jesus. It is time for us to rise up in audacious and unbridled faith, daring to believe far greater things than we have ever believed for before.

The Greater One lives in us!

Time is short, and the harvest is vast, and ripe. It is time for revival, and for Fire!
